Man accused of firing gun in Bunnell neighborhood arrested

Earnest L. Watson III, 26, faces improper exhibition of dangerous weapons charge

BUNNELL, Fla. – A man accused of firing as many as six shots in Bunnell earlier this week has been arrested, according to the Bunnell city officials.

The city said Earnest L. Watson III, 26, was arrested Wednesday by Bunnell police and Flagler deputies.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded Tuesday afternoon to reports of shots fire in the area of East Booe and South Cherry streets.

Investigators said a caller reported a weapons complaint around 12:25 p.m.

Bunnell police said they found shell casings, a small bag of marijuana and a bicycle in the roadway, although no one was at the scene.

Earnest L. Watson III, 26, faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and improper exhibition of dangerous weapons for firearms.
