Car slams into Sanford house

No one inside at time of wreck; Driver uninjured

SANFORD, Fla. – A house in Seminole County sustained minor damage when a car crashed into it.

Sanford police officers were called to the West Sixth Street home Tuesday evening.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the driver lost control of his vehicle and hit the house.  He was going fast enough that the crash caused the foundation to move.

No one was at home at the time.

Officers said the driver of the car was not seriously hurt.

He was cited in the crash.
