Disney on Ice to present 'Frozen' in Orlando

Tickets go on sale June 3 for Amway Center show

ORLANDO, Fla. – The billion-dollar blockbuster hit "Frozen" will join the traveling production Disney on Ice, and its first show will be at the Amway Center in Orlando on September 5.

The show will include the popular movie characters like Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Kristoff, his reindeer sidekick Sven and snowman Olaf.

Feld Entertainment, the show license holder, said guests can expect to feel like they're in the mountains of Arendelle. Twenty snow machines, a snowflake-inspired stage and video-projection panels are expected to amp up the performance, according to the New York Times.

"Frozen" won an academy award for 2014 Best Animated Feature Film, generated $1.2 billion worldwide and sold 2.7 million copies of its soundtrack in the United States.

Fans will be able to sing along to their favorite "Frozen" songs, including "Let it Go," at the show on ice.

Tickets range from $16 to $65, and can be purchased at amwaycenter.com or ticketmaster.com.
