Father of Wisconsin shooting suspect: I am numb

Police: Radcliffe Haughton, Jr. killed 3, injured 4

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – Three women were killed and four were injured early Sunday in a shooting at a salon and spa outside Milwaukee.

Police have not publicly identified the victims, but said Radcliffe Haughton, Jr., 45, is the suspected gunman.

Local 6 spoke to the suspect's father, Radcliffe Haughton, Sr., who lives in Winter Garden.

"I am numb... my whole body is numb," he said.

Haughton said he spoke with his son a few days ago, and that he told him about trouble at home.

"I know he was not happy, he was going through his problem with his wife, and I never stuck my nose in their business," he said.

According to Haughton, his son's wife worked in the spa. Police wouldn't confirm if she was one of the victims, but said Haughton, Jr. slashed her tires two weeks ago and that she requested a restraining order against him.

Haughton said he hopes the victim's families can forgive his son.

"As a father, as a Christian, I can only apologize to all the ones he have hurt -- I love my son, I do not approve of what he did and this have been a shock to our family," he said.
