KISSIMMEE, Fla. - A licensed real estate agent in Osceola County was arrested on suspicion of renting a home and collecting money without the owner's permission.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, Yessy George, 30, was arrested on scheme to defraud charges after giving forged documents to renters and illegally collecting $1,600 in rent.

Deputies say the victim received a phone call from a friend saying her home, which is under foreclosure and has been vacant for years, was occupied.

The family said they rented the home from a man who pointed deputies to George, saying he worked for him.

The man said he collects rent at various houses for George and also performs maintenance for the properties in exchange for a few hundred dollars.  The man said he also rented a home in Orlando for George, according to deputies.

Detectives said they arranged to have another home rented and arrested George when he showed up.  They said George's car contained several documents containing addresses, multiple unlabeled keys to unknown properties and tools that could be used to change locks.

George was booked into the Osceola County Jail and additional charges are pending.
