Gunman breaks into Winter Park home, rapes girl

Casselberry police investigate residential burglary, sex battery

CASSELBERRY, Fla. - Police continue to search for a gunman who broke into a Winter Park home and raped a girl.

Casselberry police, who are investigating the case, said the burglary and sexual battery happened at the Stonecastle Apartments on New Stonecastle Terrace around 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police have increased patrols in the area and handed out flyers showing a composite sketch of the assailant.

Police said the man was described as a light-skinned Hispanic who's about 20 years old.  He's about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 165 to 200 pounds with a stocky build, a shaved head and his lower lip is pierced.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jean shorts and a baseball hat.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call police.
