APOPKA, Fla. - Apopka police spent most of Sunday looking for a man who fell off his boat in a lake off Binion Road.
Police said they got a call in the morning after a resident saw a boat sticking out of the water in one of the lakes.
Police arrived at the lake, located off Binion and Boy Scout Roads and started their search.
Police said they closed down Binion Road for about a mile while they conducted the search of the lake and woods around it after they found out a man had gone out fishing on the lake.
Police were not sure if the man made it to shore.
Late Sunday afternoon, police said they found the body of the man, later identified as 53-year-old Michael Grady, Apopka, near the shore and facedown in about 5 feet of water.
The Medical Examiner's Office removed the body as family members started to show up.
