DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Daytona Beach Police Department are investigating a death that happened Saturday on the Intercoastal waterway.
Police said the marine unit responded after another boated spotted a man found lying over the railing on a boat that was anchored in the water.

The 27-foot sail boat was approximately 150 yards from the Bethune Point boat dock, police said.
Police said the victim had injuries to the back of his head, where it appeared something from the boat hit him in the head.
Police said there was also damage to his boat as if something had hit it.
Police said the death is being investigated as an Accidental Death.
Police are trying to contact next of kid before releasing his identity.
