OCALA, Fla. - Marion County deputies are searching for an $18,000 gas-powered golf cart that was stolen from a mobile home park in Ocala.

According to deputies, the 2011 Club Cadet/New Holland Daytona International Speedway edition golf cart was reported missing on Monday from a vacant lot on NW 46 Court Road of the Foxwood Farms Mobile Home Park.

The golf cart, which is described as having checkered flags and flames on the hood and rear, was chained to a tree. Deputies found the yellow metal chain was cut and left near the tree.

The golf cart also had "Daytona International Speedway" on the hood of the golf cart and it was lifted with larger tires than a regular golf cart, according to deputies.
