1 dead, 2 injured in Orange County motorcycle crash

Natalie Martinez, of Orlando, pronounced dead at scene

PINE RIDGE, Fla. - A crash in Pine Ridge late Thursday evening leaves two injured and one dead, after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle.

Deseray Ann Taylor, 25 of Orlando, was traveling in her vehicle east on Oak Ridge Road, while Abimel Linares, 20 of Orlando, was traveling west on Oak Ridge Road at an excessive speed with passenger Natalie Martinez, 21 of Orlando, on his motorcycle, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

When Taylor attempted to turn left to travel into a driveway toward a Shell gas station, she traveled into the Linares, who was unable to slow down due to the high speed he was traveling.

Linares collided with the front of Taylor, throwing both Linares and Martinez from the motorcycle.

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene; Taylor and Linares were both transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center. The crash is still under further investigation.
