Orange County deputies say a woman didn't notice a dump truck in a heavy construction area and slammed her pickup truck into the back of the vehicle.
The crash happened early Thursday morning on Orange Blossom Trail, just south of the Maitland Boulevard overpass. There has been steady early morning construction in the area for months.

Deputies say the woman was briefly trapped in her pickup after the crash. She was taken to a hospital after being freed from her car.
The construction worker inside the dump truck was also taken to a hospital.
