Cops: Orlando man, 79, crashes into car, house

Norman Auker ticketed for running stop sign

ORLANDO, Fla. – A car collided with a house in Orlando after running a stop sign on Thursday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Police reports said that Norwood Auker, 79, failed to stop at the intersection of Woods Avenue and Kaley Avenue when he struck a vehicle and continued to hit the front of a house.

Police said the other driver sustained minor injuries and went to Orlando Regional Medical Center. One person was in the house but was not injured.

Auker was ticketed for running a stop sign, and he and his passenger both went to ORMC with minor injuries as well.
