ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Central Florida Football got the royal treatment Sunday at the Magic Kingdom.
Disney threw a parade on Main Street USA for the Fiesta Bowl Champions.
The celebration was a perfect ending to the best season in Knight's football history.
Fans decked out in black and gold lined the parade route and cheered for the the football team, cheerleaders and the UCF Marching Band.
Mickey Mouse joined Head Coach George O'Leary, UCF President John Hitt and Athletic Director Todd Stansbury as grand marshals for the parade.
Many of the players Local 6 spoke to said the parade was extra special for them because it was their first time visiting the Magic Kingdom.
Linebacker Terrance Plummer said, "This is my first time being at Disney World. I feel like I'm 10 years old, I'm 20."
UCF beat the Baylor Bears 52-42 in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year's Day. It is the school's first ever appearance and victory in a BCS Bowl Game.
