Man arrested after woman followed, tied up in Orlando home

Police say man attacked woman as she walked dog

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police have arrested the man that they say followed a woman to her apartment, tied her up and robbed her at knifepoint.

Dennis Nino, 24, has been charged with home invasion robbery with a weapon and false imprisonment in the Thursday night incident at the Venetian Place apartments, a gated community off Commander Drive.

Orlando police believe Nino saw the woman somewhere else and followed her home.  Police said Nino then spotted the woman taking her dog out and attacked her at knifepoint forcing her back into her apartment where he tied her up and robbed her.

Police say the woman didn't call police until an hour after the home invasion happened.  It's not clear why she waited or how long she was tied up.

Nino has been arrested for the seventh time in the last five years, being charged with a previous home invasion, cocaine possession, resisting an officer and aggravated assault.
