Orlando Magic waive Jameer Nelson, Doron Lamb

ORLANDO, Fla. – Jameer Nelson and Doron Lamb were waived from the Orlando Magic on Monday.

The Magic announced waiving point guard Nelson hours after announcing Lamb would be waived.

The Magic acquired Nelson on draft night in 2004 from the Nuggets, who selected him 20th overall.

Nelson averaged 12.1 points per game int he 2013-2014 season.

Lamb was acquired along with Tobias Harris and Beno Udrih from the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for J.J. Redick, Gustavo Ayon and Ish Smith on Feb. 21, 2013.

The guard played 53 games last season for the Magic, averaging 3.6 points per game with a season-high of 14 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
