ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation says a train's conductor will have to get off the train and stop traffic until crossing arms are fixed at a downtown Orlando intersection.
FDOT tells Local 6 the crossing arms at Magnolia Avenue and North Orange Avenue are bent and broken.

Workers believe the arms were bent by Friday's strong storms or a hit-and-run driver.
Until the crossing arms are fixed, a conductor will get off the train and use a flag or flashlight to control traffic at the crossing, according to FDOT. Once the train blocks the crossing, the conductor will get back on and the train will continue through the crossing.
