Study: Orlando ranks low on list of most 'Bible-minded' cities

City ranks just behind Miami, Tampa

Christian polling firm Barna interviewed more than 42,000 Americans to determine the most and least "Bible-minded" cities. People who reported reading the Bible in the past week and said they agree strongly in the accuracy of the Bible are classified as "Bible-minded." Here are the 10 most and 10 least "Bible-minded" U.S. cities.

ORLANDO, Fla. – A study shows that Orlando ranked 65th on a list of the most "Bible-minded" cities in the U.S.

The American Bible Society reports that Orlando came in at 65th on the list, just behind Miami, 64, and Tampa, 63.

While the Southern region continued to be a strong area for "bible-minded" cities (All top 10 cities were in the South), Florida cities ranked low.

According to the American Bible Society, of the top 25 bible-minded markets, only three have a population of greater than 1 million households: Charlotte, N.C.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Dallas.
