ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police arrested a man who, they say, said he had a bomb in a bag that he left on a roadway.
Police said the incident happened at the intersection of Conroy Road and Vineland Road on Monday evening.
Police said Terrance Sukhram was standing in the middle of the roadway with a canvas bag at his feet. Officers tried to get him to move, but Sukhram refused.
Sukhram finally moved an hour later, but left his bag there after telling police there was an explosive inside it, said detectives.
The Orlando Fire Department determined that there was no explosive inside the bag.
Sukhram was charged with a Hoax Bomb.
