Police say the car and the man on the bicycle were both heading north on Narcoosee Road early Monday when the car turned into the path of the bicycle at Dowden Road. The man on the bicycle was thrown to the ground and possibly dislocated his shoulder.
Police say it's not clear if the car and the bicycle actually made contact as damage to the bicycle wasn't clearly visible.
The car did not remain on scene. Witnesses described the car as a marked police Crown Victoria.
Investigators say they're now checking to see if it had any police cruisers in the area at the time of the crash.
Local 6 asked Orlando Police for the names of the bicyclist and the witnesses involved but were told that information was not being released because the crash report is not yet complete.
