MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. - The lockdown has been lifted at Merritt Island High School after a former student made threats against the school, according to Brevard County Schools.
Deputies said a threat was made against the school by a former student, prompting the school to be put on lockdown as a precautionary measure.
The student, who hasn't been identified, was fold at Lorie Wilson Park in Merritt Island and was taken in for questioning.
Brevard County Schools said there is "no imminent threat on the campus."
No other information was immediately available.
