Man, 29, fatally shot at Edgewater bar, police say

Police: 52-year-old suspect faces murder charge

EDGEWATER, Fla. – A 29-year-old man died after he was shot at an Edgewater bar early Saturday, police said.

Edgewater police said Travis Jones, of Oak Hill, was shot just before 1:30 a.m. during a disturbance that took place at the No Name Saloon along South Ridgewood Avenue.

Jones was taken to Florida Hospital where he died, police said.

Police later found 52-year-old Rudolf John Ulics, who admitted to shooting Jones, officers said.

Ulics was arrested at his Edgewater home and charged with second-degree murder, police said.

Officers said the shooting remains under investigation.
