Man, 77, found dead during wellbeing check in Orange County, deputies say

Death investigated as homicide

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Officials are conducting a homicide investigation after a man was found dead during a wellbeing check Saturday afternoon.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrived to 1411 Avalon Road at about 2:45 p.m. to find Noel Brown, 77, dead.

Deputies said they considered the circumstances to be suspicious, and the medical examiner determined the death was a homicide.

Crime scene investigators were back on the scene of the crime Sunday afternoon investigating.

No other details were immediately released.
