Man behind raw meat video at Port Orange Golden Corral arrested

Restaurant whistle-blower arrested

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Volusia County man whose video showed raw meat being stored next to a Dumpster at a Port Orange Golden Corral has found himself in hot water.

Brandon Huber, 22, was arrested Monday night for violating his probation, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reports.

According the reports, Huber was serving five years of probation after pleading no contest to burglary charges in 2010. Officials did not say what the violation entailed.

In July, Huber made headlines when video he took at a Golden Corral showed the restaurant storing raw meet by a Dumpster.  The video prompted a state investigation and resulted in the firing of the restaurant's manager.

Huber's father said his son is on paid leave from Golden Corral, according to the paper.

Huber is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Aug. 7.
