DELTONA, Fla. - A man who barricaded himself inside a home in Deltona after a fight with his girlfriend has surrendered.

The standoff began at a home in the 1100 block of Wycliffe Street before 2 p.m. Monday.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, the girlfriend said David Bolt held a loaded gun to her head. She managed to escape uninjured. When she left the home, he went inside and has refused to come out, deputies said.

Bolt, 38, later came out of the house, yelling and throwing clothing. At about 4:35 p.m., Bolt surrendered.

Bolt faces charges of aggravated assault, felony battery, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
