PORT ORANGE, Fla. – A 45-year-old man was shot in the hand and leg early Monday at a home in Volusia County in what appeared to be a fight over a drug deal, officials said.
The shooting was reported on Golden Gate Circle near Clyde Morris Boulevard in Port Orange.

Police said an anonymous 911 caller reported the shooting and officers found the victim on the front porch of the home.
According to police, the victim was upset over the quality of drugs he was receiving, and he got into an argument with the dealer, who brandished a gun.
A struggle ensued, and the man was shot in the hand, and the bullet went through his thigh. He was taken to Halifax Medical Center.
The suspected drug dealer fled the house and remains on the run, police said.
Police said several grams of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found in the home.
A woman identified by police as the victim's girlfriend was found hiding in a bedroom closed, officials said. She was arrested on drug charges.
