Man sought in Osceola County IHOP employee robbery

OSECOLA COUNTY, Fla. - Osceola County deputies are searching for the culprit they say tried to rob an IHOP employee outside of the restaurant.

The employee at the IHOP on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway told deputies he was taking boxes to the dumpster on Friday when a man approached him and held him at knifepoint, demanding money.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a gray beard and long gray hair. He had a thin build, may be in his 50s and possibly a transient, deputies said.
