OCALA, Fla. - Ocala police are searching for the man they say attacked two women in the parking lot of a hospital and stole one of the women's purse.

The man said "hello ladies" before slamming the his body into the back of the victims' head and knocking her to the ground, according to police.

Police said the man then grabbed the woman's purse and dragged her down the driveway. He also grabbed the other woman's purse, but wasn't able to pull it from her shoulder, according the report.

Three EMT students outside in the parking garage area heard the victim scream and chased the man from MRMC until he crossed Pine Avenue, police said.
