ORLANDO, Fla. - An Orlando convenience store manager was arrested after police say he slapped two juveniles suspected of stealing soda and pointed a BB gun at one of them.

Naile Shkumar Patel, 45, was arrested on charges of false imprisonment of a child under 13 years old, aggravated assault and battery.

Police said the two boys walked into Patel's Chevron store on Silver Star Road Saturday night, grabbed two sodas and tried to walk out of the store. Patel held the door shut with a magnetic door lock and confronted the two with a toy pistol, according to the report.

In the store surveillance video, the boys are spotted running toward the door and trying to leave but can't. Patel then approaches them with the toy gun by his side and slaps one of the boys on the back of his head and lets them both leave the store after they give back the soda, the video shows. Patel also pointed the toy gun at the boys as the left the store, according to the video.

The store surveillance video has not been released.

Patel told authorities he wanted to get his merchandise back and inform the boys not to return to the store, according to the report.

Patel was booked into the Orange County jail on $5,250 bond.

It's not clear if the kids face any charges.
