MARION COUNTY, Fla. - Three people were injured in a crash at the intersection of County Road 484 and State Road 200 in Ocala on Tuesday, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.
The crash occurred at 10:50 p.m. when the driver of a Chevy Silverado truck was traveling eastbound on CR-484 in the outside travel lane coming up on a red light, according to the FHP crash report.
The report stated witnesses said the truck ran the red light and hit a Nissan Quest minivan that was traveling westbound on CR-484, making a left turn to go down SR-200 after it received a green arrow signal.
Troopers said the truck rolled over after the collision and the driver was ejected from the car. The driver was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver and passenger of the minivan had minor injuries following the crash.
The FHP is still investigating the crash.
