Masked gunmen rob Wendy's in Clermont

No one injured in armed robbery

CLERMONT, Fla. - Two masked gunmen entered a Wendy's in Clermont through an unlocked door before it opened Monday and robbed the restaurant.

The armed robbery happened around 9 a.m. at the Wendy's at 850 E. Highway 50.

According to investigators, the men entered the store and brandished semi-automatic handguns before demanding money. 

The culprits left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured.

Law enforcement officials said they're reviewing surveillance video of the robbery.

No other details were released.
