Patricia Alderman, one of Bruneau's sisters, said neighbors called authorities when they realized that Bruneau hadn't been seen and her dogs were in her home alone.

"Quite frankly, I almost collapsed," Alderman said. "There was so much feces and urine just everywhere. I realized they been in here a long time, and I said to the sheriffs, 'This is not my sister.'"

Family members took to social media to spread word of Bruneau's disappearance.

Deputies said Wednesday afternoon that Bruneau was found in Phoenix in good health and that her family had been notified. Details on how deputies located the woman or why she was in Phoenix were not released.
