LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - A 39-year-old Orlando man was killed early Wednesday when he crashed into a gate at a Disney resort after making a wrong turn while riding with a group of motorcycles, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Hector Morales was killed in the crash, which occurred around 2:30 a.m. near the All Star Music Resort at Buena Vista Drive and Showtime Drive in Osceola County, the FHP said.

According to troopers, Morales and the other motorcyclists made a wrong turn and ended up at the resort.  As he left, he failed to stop for a gate and was ejected after crashing into it, the FHP said.

Morales was taken to Celebration Hospital and was later pronounced dead, troopers said.

Morales was not wearing a helmet, the FHP said.
