NASA Approves Space-X 'Dragon' Capsule

Agency Moves Closer To Re-Sending Astronauts Back To Space

ORLANDO, Fla. - NASA's plan to return astronauts to space has taken a big step forward.

Space-X said NASA has approved its design for the "Dragon" capsule.

Space-X will develop escape engines that will disengage the capsule from a rocket in the event of an emergency.

The Dragon is expected to begin delivering delivering cargo to the International Space Station next year. It will then be upgraded to crewed missions.
