Neighbors help each other after Hurricane Irma hits Seminole County

Sanford neighbors pitch in to clear debris

SANFORD, Fla. – As soon as Seminole County's curfew was lifted Monday, Peter Leduc was out with his chainsaw.

Soon, a group of his neighbors joined him. They went from house-to-house along a stretch of Sylvan Lake Drive in Sanford, clearing up brush and debris left from Irma at homes that were not their own.

The group worked tirelessly for hours.

Neighbors helping neighbors: something that was seen all over Central Florida as the area recovers from Irma.
