DELTONA, Fla. - Authorities released more evidence on Tuesday in the case for Luis Toledo, the Deltona man accused of killing his wife and her two children.
The State Attorney's office released 150 pages of investigator accounts were released detailing what Toledo's neighbor Tyshawn Jackson saw the day he helped Toledo move Yessenia Suarez's car to a Publix parking lot in Lake Mary.
Suarez and her two children vanished four months ago after Toledo and Suarez had an argument at her work. Their bodies have not been found, but deputies have presumed them to be dead.
Toledo has admitted to killing Suarez and has also been charged with the death of her children.
Among the evidence released on Tuesday were pictures of Suarez's car in the Lake Mary Publix parking lot and investigators' interview with the neighbor who helped Toledo move the car--Tyshawn Jackson.
Investigators found DNA, blood, hair, fingerprints, clothing possibly belonging to the victims, solvents and cleaners and the cellphones of Suarez, Toledo and Jackson. But the records did not reveal much.
In an interview with detectives, Jackson said Toledo asked for his help to move the cars at 6 a.m. on Oct. 23, 2013, and saw Toledo clean Suarez's car with a solution. Jackson said he saw Toledo put a car mat, rugs, clothing and cleaning products in a plastic shopping bag and toss it in a dumpster.
Investigators identify Jackson as a possible accomplice, who is helping Toledo keep the bodies of Suarez and her children hidden from law enforcement. Investigators don't believe that Jackson was in the house or criminally involved with the deaths.
Toledo also faces charges of tampering with evidence after deputies reported finding traces of what appeared to be blood in Toledo's home and noticed it had been thoroughly cleaned.
Investigators say both, Toledo and Suarez have Instagram and Facebook accounts. Warrants did not yield any clues on where the bodies of Suarez and her two kids could be.
