No injuries after boat catches fire in Daytona Beach, officials say

Crews respond to marina at Caribbean Jack's restaurant for boat fire

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – No injuries were reported when a boat caught fire, the Daytona Beach Fire Department said.

Crews went to the marina at Caribbean Jack's restaurant in Daytona Beach for a boat that was on fire.

Fire officials said firefighters were able to keep the fire contained to one boat and prevent it from spreading to surrounding boats and the dock.

The boat was significantly damaged from the fire and is a total loss, officials said.

The owners of the boat are aware of the fire. Officials said they were not at their boat when the fire started.
