Orange County deputies name son a person of interest in couple's death

Vehicle, son of victims sought in death investigation

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Orange County deputies are still searching for the son of a couple found dead in their home as a person of interest in the case.

Sean Petrozzino, a 30-year-old quadruple amputee who neighbors said recently moved back in with his parents, should be considered dangerous, deputies said.

Deputies are working to piece together what happened to Nancy Petrozzino, 64, and her husband Michael Petrozzino, 63, inside their home Tuesday afternoon after discovering the couple's bodies after a well-being check.

Neighbors told Local 6 the principal of Andover Elementary School called 911 after Nancy Petrozzino didn't show up to teach her second-grade class.

They said her husband worked at Walt Disney World.

Deputies are calling their deaths suspicious and say they died of gunshot wounds.

"You just can't imagine something like this happening to one person, let alone a couple," said next door neighbor Richard Ellwood.

"It's difficult to imagine someone who would have that much rage, whoever did this," Ellwood said.

Deputies said they believe Sean Petrozzino may be in a red four-door Toyota with the Florida tag 112VZY.

He is believed to be in the Jupiter or Coral Springs area.

Deputies released a surveillance picture of Petrozzino taken on Tuesday morning in Orlando.

"I don't think a person like that shouldbe running loose - there's something wrong with him and the sooner they get him the better," said neighbor George Schmauch.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
