ORLANDO, Fla. - Police continue to search for a driver who fled the scene after crashing into an Orlando officer's cruiser.

The officer was responding to a call early Monday with her lights flashing when, according to investigators, a driver T-boned her patrol car near 6100 Curry Ford Road.

The officer hit her head on the steering wheel and was taken to a hospital as a precaution.  She was later released.

Orlando police are searching for the driver of a gold colored older model Buick or Oldsmobile that likely has front-end damage.
