74-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease found safe, police say

Ana Flores last seen by family around 6 p.m. Saturday

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 74-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease who was reported missing Saturday was found safe, Orlando police said Sunday morning.

Ana Flores was found near the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Oxalis Avenue, police said.

Flores was missing from the 6300 block of Lyons Street, near Semoran Boulevard and Lake Underhill Road, police said. She had last been seen by family around 6 p.m. and was believed to have been on foot.

Flores was described by police as a Hispanic woman who is 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. Police said she had last been seen wearing a red zip-up hoodie, a lavender T-shirt and blue jeans, with bare feet.

Police said Flores was in good health and was reunited with her family.
