ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Predators (3-8) defeated the Tampa Bay Storm (7-5) in an action-packed game between the "War on I-4" rivals.

The game took place Saturday night at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in front of a crowd of 14,041 people.

Tampa Bay started with the ball and they were able to strike on their first possession. The Storm's quarterback, Adrian McPherson, completed a few passes down the field before ending the drive with a 6-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Joe  Hill.

The Predators had an answer on their first possession when Aaron Garcia connected with Prechae Rodriguez on a 13-yard score.

The score was tied 28-28 at the conclusion of the first half of the game, after each team scored a touchdown in the second quarter.

Orlando took the lead at the end of the third quarter when Jason Geathers scored his first and only touchdown of the game.

The fourth quarter went back and forth but the Predators solidified their win when Rodriguez caught the final touchdown.

The final score was 55-48.

Rodriguez caught five touchdowns throughout the course of the game.

Veteran defensive lineman Jermaine Smith also recorded his 52nd career sack, moving him to 2nd on the all-time sack list.

The Predators will play in a conference matchup versus the Cleveland Gladiators June 15.
