LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Walt Disney World is expected to soon make a major announcement about an overhaul of the Downtown Disney complex, according to several park insiders.

The announcement is expected to provide more details about "Disney Springs," the rumored name for the center that will replace Downtown Disney.

Several Disney-insider blogs have reported Disney Springs will be made up of several distinct neighborhoods, all set around a spring. Those neighborhoods will be called The Town Center, The West Side and The Marketplace, according to website WDW News Today.

The neighborhoods will host a mix of retail, dining and nightlife, including the popular Disneyland concept Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar, New York City burger joint Shake Shack. Possible retailers include upscale shops like Dior and MAC Cosmetics and popular foreign clothiers UNIQLO and Bershka.

Leaked images popped up on WDW News Today that show what's supposedly planned for Disney Springs. To make way for the new construction, sources say Disney will build a parking garage to free up space where there are currently parking lots.
