The robber fled and police continue to search for him. No injuries were reported.

The robber was described as a white male in his 40s with a very tan complexion, brown eyes and black hair.

Police said detectives identified Anthony Carpino, 45, as the robbery suspect. Carpino is also known as Giovanni Salletti.

Carpino was released from the Department of Corrections in December 2015 and has an extensive criminal history, police said. Volusia County authorities report Carpino is wanted for his involvement earlier this week with a bank robbery in Daytona Beach.

Police said Palm Bay investigators developed probable cause and a judge has signed the warrants required for Carpino's arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call CRIMELINE at 800-423-TIPS.
