Police seek suspect in shooting

COCOA, Fla. – Cocoa police are investigating a shooting that left one person wounded Tuesday evening when he attempted to stop another man from hitting a woman.

The shooting took place just after 7:30 p.m. when dispatchers received multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at the Village Green Apartments on Dixon Boulevard, according to News 6 partner Florida Today
