Police: Group tried to barge into Volusia charter school to fight students

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Daytona Beach police arrested 6 people who they say tried to barge into the front door of a Volusia County charter school in an apparent attempt to fight students inside.

Police said four juveniles and two adults were arrested on charges including disorderly conduct and trespassing at the Richard Milburn Academy on Mason Avenue.

Matthew Humphrey, 18, was arrested on disorderly conduct charges and Dustin Ardillo, 18, was arrested on trespassing charges. Police said another adult male ran away before officers arrived.

Police said the incident appeared to be a fight and no other information has been released.
