KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Osceola County deputies arrested a registered felon they say was caught peering into his neighbor's bedroom window before stealing $350 worth of items from the neighbor's car.

Alexander Bokalitz, 24, has been charged with unoccupied car burglary, grand theft, loitering and prowling and petit theft, according to deputies. The neighbor told deputies she saw her neighbor, Bokalitz, peering through her bedroom window at 9:30 p.m. Thursday night and reported it to deputies.

Deputies were called again to Pershing Street hours later after several items had been stolen from unlocked cars. The victims said approximately $350 worth of items, including gift cards, a cellphone, charger, air freshener and money were missing.

Bokalitz was found at his house three houses away from the victims and deputies recovered the stolen items. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
