Police looking for person in triple shooting

Police investigate shooting at Middlebrook Farms Apartments

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police are looking for two men who they say are persons of interest in a triple shooting that happened February 19.

Jonathan Cook, 17, and Khoy Williams, 24, both of Kissimmee, died in the shooting, which happened just before 2 a.m. at the Middlebrook Farms Apartments near the 4000 block of Middlebrook Road.

According to Orlando police, officers were called to the complex and found Cook and Williams dead.  A 22-year-old man was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound, police said.

Police said they are looking for 22-year-old Joshua Heard in regards to this case and are asking the public for assistance. Police describe Heard as a thin black male, approximately 5-foot 7-inches in height, and wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and white shoes.

On Saturday, police said they are also seeking another man, described by police as a thin Hispanic male in his early 20s, approximately 5-foot 5-inches to 5-foot 7-inches, and wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and white shoes.

"All of a sudden we hear shots and one guy came running toward my porch and   says, 'Hey, I'm scared.  My friends just got shot,'" apartment resident Luis Rivera said.  "Next thing you know, I ran behind him and I said, 'Oh, my God.  I can't believe it.'  I saw the two bodies and I just ran out."

Police said all three shooting victims appeared to be walking to an apartment when they were shot in the parking lot.  It's not known if any of them lived at the complex.

No other details, including information about the shooter, were immediately known.
