Police search for armed man in Orange County bank robbery

Man stole undisclosed amount of cash, deputies say

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orange County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who they say committed armed robbery of a Chase Bank around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

After arriving at the Chase Bank at 12528 S. Orange Blossom Trail, deputies learned from witnesses that the suspect is a 6-foot-2-inch black male approximately in his late 20s. He was described as wearing a red long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, glasses, and a red, yellow and green beanie-style hat.

The suspect said he was armed after presenting a teller with a note demanding money. He then fled the scene heading south after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
