Pregnant cows stolen from Lake County farm

Thieves sought on grand theft charges, deputies say

CLERMONT, Fla. - Lake County deputies are still searching for thieves they say stole five pregnant cows from a farmer's property.

Deputies said the thieves cut the electrical fence at a farm on Blackstill Lake Road off State Highway 50 in Clermont and took the Angus cows, which are worth more than $7,500.

The thieves could face grand theft charges.

Anyone with information about the theft is urged to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
