Forty-nine people were slain and 53 others were injured June 12 at the gay club in Orlando, the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

OCSO started taking the overflow calls after Orlando Police Department was inundated with 911 calls. The Orlando Police has released only a fraction of the more than 600 emergency calls it received during the club shooting.

"This is the seventh time that I'm calling you guys with the same information. My girlfriend is inside the Club Pulse, in the bathroom, where there's four dead, and there's two injured. They're about to bleed out, and it's been over an hour, and nothing has been done," one caller told dispatchers.

"OK, sir, stuff is being done. I can promise you that. Stuff is being done," the dispatchers responded.

In another call, a dispatcher is telling the caller to stay where they feel safe.

"OK. Listen, sir. I want you to stay where you are, where you feel safe. OK. Keep the phone with you. They have deputies working the incident… err, officers… officers working the incident, OK?  I have to answer other calls. So keep the phone with you. Stay where you are if you feel safe there, OK?" the dispatcher said.

The caller responded, "No, He’s going to kill us …"

Another caller told dispatchers that the shooter, later identified as Omar Mateen, was still inside of Pulse Orlando.

Calls even came from Groveland Police Department, where a man called police telling them his ex-girlfriend had called him and said she was being shot at in Orlando.

Survivor Chriss West shared video from the night of the shooting, showing what life was like inside Pulse before the massacre.
