Millions of dangerous dehumidifiers are being recalled by the government again because of a potentially dangerous defect.
"Gree USA" and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission published the latest recall on Tuesday. It affects about 2.5 million dehumidifiers sold in the United States and Canada.

The government says the dehumidifiers can overheat, smoke and catch fire, posing serious fire and burn hazards to consumers.
The recall was first announced in September of 2013, but the government is issuing it again in hopes of getting more consumers to stop using the dehumidifiers.
The appliances were sold under various brand names at major U.S. retailers like HH Gregg, Home Depot, Kmart, Lowe's, Sears, and Walmart.
